1.4 Thursday - Turkey Pesto

TURKEY PESTO




Ingredients


Cooked turkey from yesterday
Spaghetti
Vegetables
Cabbage
Pesto

Method
Today we are going to do a turkey pesto pasta.
 
Fill the pan with water and put it on to boil, adding enough spaghetti for four people.
 
Take the leftover turkey from yesterday and cut it into smaller pieces and place in a large pan to reheat (cooked meat must be reheated for at least two and half minutes).
 
Thinly slice the cabbage and add it to the meat and stir through. You can add a small amount of water if required and place a lid on the pan to help steam the cabbage.
 
When the pasta is cooked and drained, place it back in its pot and add two dessert spoonfuls of pesto and stir it well into the pasta.
 
Put enough peas for four into a bowl and pour over hot water from the kettle to cover. Set aside.
 
Add the pasta and peas to the meat, stir in evenly and serve.
