4.1 Monday - Cous Cous, Pork and Vegetables

Today, being a Monday, I have made a simple - almost lazy - recipe for an easy start to the week, using some pork left over from yesterday's meal (hope you remembered to keep some aside!) with some cous cous, which can be prepared in seconds.




Cous cous Pork and Vegetables


Ingredients

Cooked pork from yesterday, diced
1 cup cous cous
½ sp seasoning
½ onion
1 sp cooking oil
Garlic, chopped
 

Method

Put the cous cous, seasoning and gravy into a small oven proof bowl. Pour over enough hot water from the kettle to cover. Place a saucer on top of the bowl and set aside for about 5 minutes.

In a frying pan and using a little oil, fry off the onion and garlic and add the meat, then cook through.

In a separate pan, quickly boil the vegetables.

Mix the three elements together and serve.
